Wheaton Montessori has maintained the highest level of accreditation with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) from the beginning.

Dr. Maria Montessori founded AMI in 1929 to maintain the integrity of her life’s work. AMI/USA is a branch office in the United States whose core focus is to help children attain their full potential in society through Montessori education.
