Eleanor Lingo is the Before-School Greeter at Wheaton Montessori School.
Mrs. Lingo greets each child every morning and helps all students and staff members start the day with a smile. She enjoys reading books to children who are enrolled in the Full School Day PLUS Wrap-Around Care program. These students enjoy their daily interactions with Mrs. Lingo.
She and her husband, Mr. Lingo, were introduced to Montessori through their daughters who co-founded Wheaton Montessori School, Elizabeth Berdick and Rebecca Lingo. Since the school’s foundation in 2000, they have provided tireless support behind the scenes, contributing in countless ways to the day-to-day operation of the school. Mr. Lingo passed away in the Spring of 2020 and we miss his laughter, support, calm, and positivity each day.
Mrs. Lingo has five grandchildren and enjoys spending time with her family. She shares tales from her childhood, weaving magic into every word. These cherished moments with her family are what she treasures most, each one a precious memory in the making. She believes that Montessori is a natural way for people to learn.
