DIDEM KOYMEN BUGAY

Didem Koymen Bugay is the Marketing Communications Director at Wheaton Montessori School.

Didem has been an integral member of the Wheaton Montessori School community since 2016, as the parent of a son and a daughter who both started their educational journey in Elizabeth Berdick’s class. She has contributed to the school in various roles, providing office support and serving as a chaperone on numerous local and overnight school trips.

She joined the office team as the Marketing Communications Director in 2023. She guides all internal and external marketing communications and oversees all marketing aspects of school branding. With more than

twenty years of experience in Marketing Communications, she has worked across various sectors, including software, hardware, and security product companies in the United States, as well as Southern and Eastern Europe.

Didem has a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business with a minor in German from Minnesota State University, and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Illinois, Urbana-

Champaign.

She is obsessed with orange color and anything with peanut butter. She enjoys spending time with her children and three cats, reading, and listening to music in her free time. When co-workers visit the office, she

uses her Turkish saying “Nice person comes while you are talking about them.” (“İyi insan lafının üstüne gelir”)
