DEBORAH ALVAREZ

Deborah Alvarez is a Primary Teacher Assistant at Wheaton Montessori School.

Deborah is a native Spanish-speaking teacher assistant in Amy Chiste’s class. She has been at the school since the summer of 2016. She also does a lot of volunteer work on a variety of projects that make a positive

difference in people’s lives.

She appreciates the kindness of her teachers and has cherished many delightful moments with friends, both of which have contributed to her joyful school experience.

Deborah has a passion for reading, playing basketball, and cherishing moments with her family. She enjoys learning about different cultures and traveling, with Mexico being one of her favorite destinations. Born in the

Chicago area, Deborah grew up in Morelos, Mexico. She loves Mexican cuisine, especially tacos, and enjoys baking.
