A December Reflection: Mrs. Rogers’ thoughts for the dark days of December

Our own Mrs. Rogers, a primary classrrom teacher at Wheaton Montessori School, has once again had her work published.  Her article, “The Spiritual Life of Children: A December Story,” has been published by MariaMontessori.com.  Congratulations, Jennifer!

Mrs. Rogers obviously has a way with words; we’re so happy that the rest of the world gets to see a glimpse of her beautiful writing.  At the center of this article is one of our primary students, Sahil (“Sami” in the article).  Please click the link below to read about the connection that Mrs. Rogers and Sahil were able to forge together in the Primary classroom.

As we bustle about in our busy and frantic lives, remember as one reader commented, “the quiet work of the child must continue.”  During the last busy weeks of 2016, watch your child and try to enjoy their moments of quiet reflection.
