Do you recognize the title of this post? It’s one of the most memorable lines from “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak, a well-loved children’s book. It’s so well-loved by one child in Mrs. Rogers’s room that it inspired his work in the classroom! Gabe patiently stitched Max, the “King of the Wild Things” and one of the “Wild Things,” working diligently to create fine, even stitches. This kind of work takes an immense amount of patience, attention, and dexterity. It’s big work!
