TRACY FORTUN

Before Wheaton Montessori School began, Mrs. Fortun was chosen as the person to start the second primary classroom. Since then, she has worn many hats: she was a primary teacher, community coordinator and parent educator before joining the Elementary class as an assistant teacher in 2006. Having completed the AMI Elementary training, she assumed the role of teacher in the fall of 2010. Mrs. Fortun holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Minnesota and a M.Ed. from Loyola College in Maryland, as well as AMI Primary and Elementary certification from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota. Both of her children have attended WMS.
