Our Junior High students have quite a bit “new” in their program this year. Not only are there more students, there is also a new math specialist and newly-renovated classroom space.
The students spent a few minutes on Monday assembling ten new desks and twenty chairs that will be used for lessons and their group lunch time.
A new chalkboard for lessons and equations, a new paint job on the walls, new lighting, and new trim complete this phase of the renovations.
The multi-age program allows 7th, 8th, and 9th graders to work together during lessons, observe the “next step,” and have repeated exposure to concepts during the week.
