Anytime teens are in public there is the possibility ofneeding to interact with adults, a possibility that fills most of them with dread. As elementary students, all adults were authority figures Teens are emerging into a world where some adults will have authority, some adults are peers, and some adults are working in a service capacity. Some of these adults will have roles shift depending on the situation. Of course students aren’t sure how to act yet.
This is all grist for the mill in a Montessori Education. Think Grace and Courtesy.
