EMILY SEARCY

Ms. Searcy is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and was awarded her B.A. (in English and Spanish) from Miami University in Ohio. She received her M.A. in English from the University of Akron. For two years she served in the Peace Corps, where she taught English language and literature to Elementary and high school students in Biratnagar, Nepal. Ms. Searcy has served on the WMS Board of Directors since its founding. In the spring of 2004, after spending several years working in development for a Chicago non-profit, she joined WMS full time. She received her Montessori teacher certification from the Montessori Training Center in Minnesota in 2006.
