CHRISTINE CARR

Before accepting a position as our fourth Primary classroom teacher, Ms. Carrillo taught both summer school and elementary Spanish at Wheaton Montessori School. Ms. Carrillo has earned a B.A. (History/Latin American Studies) from College of the Holy Cross (2000), a Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University (2006), holds state teaching certificates in both MA and IL. She is AMI-certified for the Primary level through the Montessori Training Center of St. Louis. 

Ms. Carrillo previously worked full-time as a Spanish instructor for preschool through middle school students. Her own family’s attendance at WMS was the inspiration for Ms. Carrillo to train to become an AMI-certified instructor. 

Ms. Carrillo is an avid walker and yoga practicer; you may see her walking with her two Beagles all around Wheaton!
