Book Swap Success
Categories: General Knowledge Fund

We’re fortunate to have a generous school community with such a love of books, reading, and sharing.

We held our second Book Swap a few weeks ago and it was a big success!  Students and families dropped off much-loved titles that they wanted others to be able to enjoy.  Then they were able to select books to take home from the huge variety that had been donated.  Popular books to consider taking back home included:

  • Magic Tree House books
  • Llama Llama books
  • Cookbooks (one student was particularly excited to make cupcakes on the next snowy day)

Several teachers also participated and “traded up” for beginning reader books such as Henry and Mudge, Annie and Snowball, and Biscuit books.

Don’t forget that our Little Free Library is always available!  The Library was established in honor of Mrs. Taylor and her love of reading.  Be sure to “Share-a-Book, Read-a-Book” and take advantage of the selection upstairs in the main building.
